• 70th Floor: At 850 feet up, this open-air deck has no glass barriers, giving you clear views of NYC’s iconic landmarks like the Empire State Building, Chrysler Building, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Statue of Liberty.
• The Beam: See the best NYC view from 70 floors up at our indoor and outdoor observation decks and be lifted 12 feet above the deck to recreate the iconic “Lunch atop a Skyscraper” photo with the Beam experience.

What time should I visit Top of the Rock?

Your journey begins at the reimagined Top of the Rock Welcome Gallery, located on the Mezzanine Level of 30 Rockefeller Plaza. You’ll capture memorable images with iconic Rockefeller Center photo opportunities and view a 10-foot “living” model of the entire campus. Then, you will enter the Top of the Rock theater, where you will enjoy a five-minute multisensory film bringing the vision and history of this beloved landmark to life. The Welcome Gallery culminates with a 43-second elevator ascent to the 67th floor, dropping visitors off on Level 1 of the observation deck.

The Weather Room##

The Weather Room pairs Top of the Rock’s sweeping cityscapes with elevated, locally sourced casual fare like artisanal sandwiches, mezze plates, pastries, coffee or cocktails. Visitors can enjoy a cappuccino or alcoholic beverage overlooking Central Park, a baguette while casting your sights on the Brooklyn Bridge, or an artisanal sandwich while overlooking Manhattan.
